"Counsel to those who
mind their own business"

Everyone must plan for the disposition of assets and management of property in the event of death or disability. A will or trust is your opportunity to declare specifically how you want your property distributed or managed after your death. Further, I encourage and assist clients in the preparation of health care directives: (1) a “living will” that expresses your wishes regarding the continuation of medical or life-sustaining treatment in the face of an otherwise terminal condition, and (2) a Durable Health Care Power of Attorney that empowers your designee to make health care decisions on your behalf when you are unable to make those decisions yourself. Should you wish to delegate Power of Attorney over financial and property interests, I can help with that exercise also.

My goal in these activities is to help create a clear, complete, effective and efficient plan for the management of your affairs. Regardless if your estate is “large” or includes a family business, care is taken to ensure that your personal, financial and business goals are addressed thoughtfully and comprehensively and coordinated with your accountant, tax professional, financial planner and other advisors.
